» KKU discusses academic collaborations with representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok (1616 Views)

On April 4, 2017, Ms. Anne Seshadri, Cultural Affairs Officer and Ms. Preeyawan Sakornyen, Cultural Affairs Specialist (Education) from the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok visited KKU. They were welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Collaboration, Asst.  Prof. Dr. Uthaiwan Danwiwat, Thai Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Xu Lin,  Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Khon Kaen University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kornwipa Poonpon, Associate Dean for Planning and Information, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Acting Director of International Relations Division. The representatives visited KKU to discuss academic collaborations in many areas with KKU administrators, especially conducting programs or projects with KKU. They also discussed about the programs and courses which are offered by the Confucius Institute for KKU students. Moreover, the representatives learned about collaborations that KKU has with international institutions.
