On April 26, 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Trirattanasirichai, the President of Khon Kaen University together with Khon Kaen University’s administrators from the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health welcomed Dr. Phouthone Vangkhonevilay, Acting President of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) and his team on the occasion of their visit to Khon Kaen University in order to expand the academic collaboration between KKU and UHS. In this visit, the president of UHS proposed to explore the possibilities of future collaborations with the Faculty of Nursing, the Faculty of Public Health, the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine in terms of sending the staff and students for study in KKU, and in the academic collaboration and joint research. According to the meeting, they agreed to sign the new MOU between KKU and UPS instead of renewing the last MOU which was already expired.
