On July 4, 2017, the workshop on “International Grant Proposal Writing” was opened by Asst. Prof. Kittapatr Dhabhalabutr, Assistant to the President for Infrastructure. This workshop was undertaken in collaboration between EURAXESS ASEAN, French Embassy in Thailand, DAAD Thailand, and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Thailand, Newton Fund, Global Young Academy and the International Relations Division, Khon Kaen University. The object was to inspire our lecturers and young researchers to write effective research proposal and to learn about International Funding Agencies, especially the EU Funding and become a platform for exchanging ideas with European grantees as well as building a network among researchers. Moreover, it also would help our university proceed towards our vision to become a “World Class Research University”. A significant number of participants attended the event.
