In this talk, Dr. Narongchai explained that Thailand is planning to rely on digital economy to drive the country using IT or digital technology to increase production. It is expected that the time spent will be less, and the value will be added to goods and services until we are able to compete with other countries. At the same time, it is essential that the economic value must be created by using creativity, culture, technology and integrated innovations strengthened by our potential in 3 aspects. First, it is social and cultural capital or Thainess. This means that the social and cultural capital that is present in Thailand is transferred from generation to generation or is modified to match the present-day living. This could be traditional and contemporary. Creativity can be linked to everything and extended to various industries for example, fashion, art and craft, gems, ornaments and technology. Secondly, it is the tropical multiplicity of flora. The capital that can create business such as spa, health-based tourism, etc. Finally, the third capital is the open-mindedness that welcomes multiplicities of nationalities and religions.
