On August 15, 2017, Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Collaboration together with personnel from the International Relations Division welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sofyan Anif, Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta and an administrative team on occasion of their visit to Khon Kaen University to explore the potential existing academic collaborations. They discussed the possibility to exchange students for an Internship program between the two universities as more students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta are willing to join the internship program at KKU. They also would like to develop the capacity building framework for human resources by collaborative projects, research, and academic publications. Moreover, both universities aimed to update the MOU in the future.
