On August 25, 2017, International Relations Division, Khon Kaen University organized the International Student Day 2017 for KKU international students with the theme of “The Fancy Headpiece Party”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Triratanasirichai, President of Khon Kaen University presided over the event and welcomed international students from all faculties of KKU. This year, over 300 international students from over 20 countries joined the event. Many highlighted activities included ice-breaking activities, traditional music and dancing performances by international students from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Japan, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Moreover, many booths presented international food, and there were 28 international students participating in the Mister and Miss Fancy 2017 contest. The winner for Miss Fancy 2017 was a student from Laos, and for Mister Fancy 2017 was an Indonesian student. The event was very exhilarating and was appreciated by all who attended.
