» KKU administrators welcome President of University of Tsukuba, Japan (1679 Views)

On August 27, 2017, Prof. Kyosuke Nagata, President of University of Tsukuba, Japan and an administrative team visited Khon Kaen University in order to open the Center for Research on International Cooperation in Education Development (CRICED) in the premises of the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN) with the collaboration of the Center for Research in Mathematics Education (CRME) of the Faculty of Education, KKU. They were welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Triratanasirichai, President of Khon Kaen University along with an administrative team at Sarasin Conference Room, Sirikunakorn Building. Both universities also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which will encourage academic exchanges between University of Tsukuba and KKU in the future and further strengthen the bonds in the coming years. In addition, KKU presently has 104 personnel who have graduated from educational institutions in Japan, and nine of them graduated from the University of Tsukuba. Also, another key factor behind Khon Kaen University’s successful collaboration with Japan is the Memoranda of Understanding that have been signed with 69 institutions.
