On September 20, 2017, Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Tophak-Ngam, Assistant to the President for International Collaboration, together with Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Director of International Relations Division (IRD) and their staff welcomed Dr. Suryo Budi Santoso PhD, Head of Partnership and Development Bureau, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP), Central Java, Indonesia and his three accompanying delegates representing the Faculty of Economics and Business, and the Department of Accounting of their university during their visit here.
The aim of their visit was to explore further possible collaborations between the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto and Khon Kaen University in the fields of Business Management, Economics, Accounting, and Local governance and policy management. The delegates were looking forward to possible opportunities of partnerships in terms of student exchanges, transfer credit programs, scholarships, academic staff exchanges and other related areas between the two universities. They also expressed their interest in exploring possible collaborative international degree programs at graduate and post-graduate levels based on their collaborations with countries like Malaysia and South Korea. KKU administrators wished them well and assured them of all support and cooperation in possible collaborations in the future with their university.
